O riginally built in 1835, St Peters was the vicarage of Ruddington Parish Church. This elegant period house has been tastefully converted to offer accommodation of the highest order whilst retaining all its original charm. Situated only a short distance from the centre of Ruddington and a short drive from the centre of Nottingham, St Peters features peaceful surroundings and attractively mature gardens with lots of shrubs, trees, and colourful beds of a good size, offering a variety of seating and a large bar-be-que area. The gardens are all on a level to allow easy access to all areas. We have three spacious lawns where in the summer our tables and umbrellas are placed so that service users can enjoy the garden at its best. Our heated sun lounge/conservatory enables service users to enjoy the garden all year round watching the wild life wander in the gardens.

T he centre of Ruddington is only a short walk from St Peters. Ruddington has every amenity that our service users may need. There is two excellent Health Centres, Pharmacist, Dental Practice, Optician, Hairdressing Salons, Variety of Shops, Restaurants, Cafes and Public Houses. There is also a small country hotel, Ruddington Country Park has within its grounds the Heritage Centre, where there is often train journeys at weekends available. There is a small framework museum with in walking distance from the home. Ruddington has a Methodist, Baptist and Anglican Church, a Public Library. St Peters rooms in the village offers services for the elderly such as regular coffee mornings, fetes, gala's and other clubs providing other activities.

W hen entering St Peters you will be welcomed into a large entrance hall.

A s you walk through the hallway you enter the dining room to the right, which has a large Georgian window that overlooks the garden. The dining room is comfortably furnished for the residents to enjoy their meals from our kitchen where menus are prepared in a traditional style with all special diets being catered for.



T he Conservatory is bright, well ventilated and spacious. There are a variety of 7 easy seats and tables ensuring a very comfortable area. There is available various games and reading material also a stereo system with a vast amount of different types of music. There is an organ which is played most weeks in the afternoons, also in this room is a large screen TV with a DVD and video player. Newspapers and magazines are placed in these areas daily.

T he home has a variety of bedrooms, single ensuite, singles and shared. There are specialised shower rooms to make bathing easy for the less abled. All bedrooms are decorated and furnished to a high standard. All bed linen, towels and face cloths are provided and laundered daily.
